Part 1
(Liz is sitting in the gym of West Roswell High along with the rest of her graduating class. It's been a year since Maria along with the pod squad had left Earth, Kyle and her being the only ones left behind. She and Kyle had found out that Tess was the one to murder Alex but they had been to late to warn the others. They had gotten to the pod chamber just as their ship had taken off and all Liz and Kyle could do was watch. Liz flinched as she remembered all the questions Amy and the Evans had for them when they had gotten back. So they did what the others couldn't, they told their parents the truth. All of them had thought they were crazy at first but as they thought about it, everything seemed to come together. All of the unexpected dissapearences that sometimes lasted for days, all of the lies, everything. It all made sense. As they accepted what Liz and Kyle had told them they became sad that they had gone through so much at such a young age, while most teenagers were worrying about dances, school, and just ordinary things. They were trying to defeat the skins, and not get killed. Liz and Kyle had also grown close to the Evans, helping them in their grief of losing two of their children who didn't trust them enough to tell them the truth the whole time. Things had gotten slightly better after that, at least until Liz found out she was something far from human. It was only up until these people from a secret society in their church had revealed who or what she really was. Liz had accepted aliens existing but she wasn't prepared for what they had told her. Liz wasn't her real name, she was really Lilith, a girl who was Adams first wife but had been cast out after defying god. After, she had killed thousands of people over the years until about 18 years ago they had captured her and they made the mistake of not watching to make sure all entrances to her cell were closed off and a little orphan girl had snuck in there. When they had realized what happened they ran in there shocked at what they found. The demon, Lilith, had somehow transferred her essence into the little girl and they had watched as the little girls eyes changed color as did other physical features and the demon disinegrated leaving the little girl. They were able to stop her powers from showing until her 18th birthday. This being the reason why they had told her in the first place. The day she had gotten her powers was the day she had gotten those past memories back. She had been in denial about all of it until an argument with Kyle had forced the truth out of her. It also made her come to term with who and what she really was. It had taken alot of work but she finally stopped having all the nightmares of killing people, and had also realized that just because she had a horrible past didn't mean that at least a part of her wasn't Liz Parker. And now here she was having a semi normal life with Kyle. Before she could dwell on her thoughts anymore, she heard the principle call her name).
Liz:(smiled and stood up to recieve her diploma) Thank You. (she said as they handed her the diploma and congratulated her. As she walked down the steps she turned and smiled as she saw Kyle and her parents looking at her proudly)
(Liz took a seat and waited as they called out the rest of the names and when they called Kyles name Liz stood up and clapped as he recieved his diploma, they both smiled at each other).
(Later that night)
(Roswell Desert)
(Liz and Kyle were sitting on top of his car watching the stars)
Kyle:(he said as he looked at Liz) So when do we leave for Logans?
Liz:(smiled, she was happy to finally being able to see her cousin after the past few years) Tommorrow at noon. We stop in Utah and then straight to Seattle.
Kyle:(layed back) It's gonna be nice.
Liz:(layed back with him) What is?
Kyle: Leaving Roswell. (he looks at her)
Liz:(smiled) Yea.
Kyle:(after a moment) Do you ever regret it?
Liz:(confused) Regret what?
Kyle:(looked her in the eyes) Max.
Liz:(sighed) I don't know. So much has happened but then again I loved him. No matter how much I don't want it to be true. It is.
Kyle: I'm sorry. (he said hesitantly)
Liz: Sorry about what? None of it was your fault. (she shrugs as she said this)
Kyle: This is. (and before Liz could respond he kissed her and what was most shocking was that she kissed him back. They both continued to kiss, and as Kyle leans over her he pulls back and looks at her in a silent question, which she just responds by pulling him back to her).
