Summary: In Roswell after Departure and in Gilmore Girls this takes place after Tristan leaves Chilton. What happens after a tragic accident Liz finds out she was adopted and has another mother and sister? Please give this story a chance!! I decided to try something new.

Part 1

(Roswell)

(Liz was sitting in Kyle’s room waiting for him to get there. She needed to tell him about Maria, as Liz thought about what happened she couldn’t help but let a tear go down her face)

(Flashback)

(Marias house)

(Liz was laying there on the couch thinking of the big mistake she had made she couldn’t believe that she had just had sex with Sean. She was just so upset that Max was leaving Roswell and that he had gotten Tess pregnant. She loved him and she couldn’t believe that he did this. All she could think about was, didn’t he love her too? Oh sure he gives her the necklace they found at Atherton’s Dome and kisses her and then tells her how much he’s going to miss her but if he hadn’t gotten Tess pregnant then he wouldn’t have to leave. Before Liz could continue her thoughts Maria walked in)

Liz:(sat up) Hey

Maria:(walked over and fell back against the couch next to Liz) Hey. Did Max talk to you?

Liz:(nodded) Yea. (She then noticed the look on Marias face) Maria?

Maria:(looked down) Liz I need to tell you something.

Liz: Ok. What is it? (Liz knows by the look on Marias face that whatever was going on wasn’t good)

Maria:(takes a deep breath and then looks at Liz) Liz I’m going with them.

Liz:(shocked) what? (She couldn’t believe what she was hearing) Why?

Maria:(sighed) I love him so much Liz and I can’t stand the thought of being without him. (She says begging Liz to understand)

(Liz looked at her speechless she couldn’t believe that Maria was going to leave with the others. Her best friend was going to leave her all alone. Liz just stood up and walked out not saying anything to Maria, leaving her there with a sad expression)

(End of Flashback)

(Before Liz could think of it anymore Kyle walked in)

Kyle:(as he saw Liz) Hey

Liz:(small smile) Hey Kyle.

Kyle:(walks over and sits on the bed beside Liz) you heard. (He says looking at her)

Liz:(nodded) Yea I did.

Kyle:(thinks for a moment) Where’s Maria?

Liz:(took a deep breath) Marias going with them.

(Liz waited for his reaction and wasn’t surprised as he stood up and started pacing)

Kyle:(muttered as he paced) I can’t believe she’s going with them.

Liz:(stood up and grabbed his arms to make him stop pacing) Kyle I’m just as upset as you are, if not more. But this isn’t going to help ok.

Kyle:(stopped and nodded and then walked over to his dresser) I know. (He looked up at the mirror) I just- (he paused and Liz walked over to him when he didn’t finish what he was saying, and when she looked at his face she noticed that he was deathly pale)

Liz:(concerned) Kyle?

Kyle:(looked at Liz in shock) Tess…Tess killed Alex.

Part 2

(Pod Chamber)

(Liz and Kyle pounded as hard as they could on the door to the Pod Chamber, both yelling out Max and the others names. Hoping that someone would hear them and open the door, but deep down they both knew that no one would hear them and that they were too late. As if to confirm what they were thinking the ground started shaking causing Kyle to stop pounding, but not Liz she pounded as hard as she could, her knuckles covered in blood. She had tears going down her face as Kyle pulled her away from the door so they wouldn’t get hit by the flying rocks, both of them took off running down the pathway until they hit the ground).

(Liz and Kyle looked up just in time to see the ship containing everyone they cared about fly into space most likely on their way to meet their deaths. Once the ship was out of sight Liz fell to her knees as one thought kept going on in her head. They were gone. She had failed them, she let that murdering bitch get them and take them to their deaths. Liz felt like she couldn’t even move so she just let Kyle help her up and lead her to the car).

Kyle:(as he started the car) Crashdown? (He watched as Liz barely nodded)

(Crashdown)

(Kyle parked his car and Liz finally started to shake herself out of her shock)

Liz:(looked at him) I can’t believe we didn’t make it.

Kyle:(gave her a sad look as he said) Me too. Come on. (They both climbed out of the car and then made their way inside the Crashdown).

Kyle:(as he looked around to see the whole place empty) Where is everyone? (Before Liz could respond Jeff and Nancy walked in from the back)

Liz:(as she saw her parents) Mom, Dad, What’s going on? Where is everyone?

Nancy:(looks at Liz seriously) We closed early because Phillip, Diane, and Amy are here. The Evans showed the video that Isabel and Max left them to us and Amy found Marias letter that she was leaving with them. We want you both to come to the back and tell us the truth. Where the others left to and everything.

Liz:(after a moment she nodded) Ok. (She was tired of lying to them and after everything they put their parents through, she knew that they deserved to know).

Kyle:(as they started following Nancy to the back he leaned in to say) Are you sure?

Liz:(nodded and gave him a small smile) They should know what happened Kyle. (After a moment he nodded in agreement. As they reached the back they saw Jeff, Amy who had tears in her eyes, along with the Evans)

Nancy:(said once Liz and Kyle sat down) Ok. Start at the beginning.

Liz:(nodded) Ok I guess I’ll start. That day in the Crashdown when everyone thought I had been shot, well I was.

Jeff:(shocked) What do you mean you were shot Lizzy? We saw you after and you looked perfectly fine.

Nancy:(placed a hand on his arm) Jeff honey let her finish. (Jeff nodded and they all looked at Liz)

Liz:(took a deep breath) I was shot in the stomach and I would’ve died if it hadn’t been for Max. He healed me. See Max, Micheal, and Isabel aren’t from around here, they’re aliens. (She waited for their reactions and when no one laughed or said she was crazy she continued) They were in the 47 crash, but were in these incubation pods until they came out looking like 7 year olds and they were walking in the desert when you found them.

Diane:(confused) But we only found Max and Isabel.

Liz:(nodded) From what Max told me, when they saw your headlights Micheal hid, he was scared and they didn’t find him again until later.

Diane:(as she covered her mouth with a sad expression on her face) He was right there the whole time and we didn’t know.

Phillip:(he said as he placed his hand over hers) It’s ok honey, we helped him now. (Diane nodded and then turned to Liz, motioning her to continue)

Liz: After he healed me, he and Micheal ran out of the Crashdown and it wasn’t until the next day when I cornered Max that he told me how he did it. He told me how he, Isabel, and Micheal were aliens but they didn’t know where they had come from, only that they had powers and had been in the crash. Later that day Maria cornered me with the order pad I had when I got shot, it had my blood on it and she told me if I didn’t tell her what happened then she would go to Valenti. So I told her, after that me and Maria had stopped Max and the others from leaving Roswell. They were going to leave because they knew that Jim suspected them…(she then proceeded to tell them about Micheal getting sick, Tess and Nasedo coming to town, Nasedo kidnapping her, Pierce, Max getting captured, Micheal killing Pierce, the destiny message, and everything else that happened the past two years until Alex dying)

Kyle:(as Liz stopped when they got to Alex dying he said) I’ll take it from here ok. (Liz nodded and he continued) When Alex died the whole group fell apart, more after what Liz told us. (He took a deep breath at what he was about to say next) She told us how she thought that Alex was murdered, all the facts just didn’t add up right. None of us wanted to believe her but eventually me, Maria, and Micheal started to help her after she found out that Alex never went to Sweden. He was in Las Cruses the whole time decoding the destiny book.

Phillip:(interrupted) Why would Alex lie about going to Sweden? (He asked confused)

Kyle:(sighed) That’s just it, he didn’t lie. He thought that he had actually gone to Sweden. It was Tess, the whole time she had been mindewarping him to get the destiny book and one day he finally broke out of the warp and confronted her. She didn’t want him to tell us what she had been doing so she tried to mindewarp him again but it was too much and it killed him. I was there..(He paused and swallowed)..I saw the whole thing but I couldn’t tell anyone because she had mindewarped me to carry his body, thinking that it was luggage. I guess she was weak because after Amy started to remember how Brody had taken Maria and Sean hostage I remembered what Tess did. But before I get to that Liz, Micheal, and Maria found the translation and they gave it to Max. That was when we found out that Max had gotten Tess pregnant and the baby couldn’t survive on Earth. So they read the translation that told them how to get home and they activated the granolith. Maria decided to go with them because she didn’t want to be without Micheal. We just left to tell them what Tess had did and stop them from leaving with her but we didn’t get there in time. We made it just in time to see them leave. (He stopped and watched their reactions)

Amy:(with tears going down their faces) So my baby is out there on some other planet with a murderer.

Liz:(nodded) Yea, but she’s not alone Amy. The others won’t let anything happen to her. (She said softly trying to put some of Amy mind at ease)

Diane:(stood up with Phillip) I think we need some time to all take this in. (she looked at Kyle) Can you tell your father that we would like to talk to him tomorrow? (Kyle nodded and they watched as the Evans along with Amy walked out)

Nancy:(with tears going down her face) I’m so sorry that you two had to go through all of that. I’m also sorry for waiting so long to tell you.

Liz:(confused) Tell me what?

Jeff:(to Nancy) Nancy I don’t think now is the best time.

Nancy:(nodded) I know that Jeff but she has a right to know.

Liz:(getting irritated that they she doesn’t know what they are talking about) Know what?

Nancy:(sighs) Liz honey, I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time but I just haven’t found the right time and today made me realize that there will never be a right time for this.

Liz:(after a moment) What’s going on Mom?

Nancy:(swallowed) Liz you were adopted, your real mother was only a teenager when she had you and so she gave you up. (She paused to see Lizs reaction)

Liz:(after a moment) Do you know who there are? (She asked wanting to know)

Jeff:(nodded) Yes, your mother’s name is Lorelai Gilmore and you fathers is Christopher Hayden. As far as we know she lives in a town called Stars Hollow in Connecticut and we don’t know about Christopher.

Liz:(nodded and then stood up) I just need some time to soak this in ok. (She didn’t even wait for their response as she turned to Kyle) Come on. (He stood up and followed her outside)

Kyle:(once they walked out of the Crashdown he asked) Are you ok?

Liz:(shook her head) No. I really need to get away from here. (She watched as Kyle nodded and then she followed him to the car and climbed in. All she could think was how hurt she was that her parents had waited until now to tell her the truth. They had been lying to her all this time).

(10 minutes later)

(Liz watched as they pulled up to Micheal’s apartment and then she looked at Kyle questionably).

Kyle:(as he saw her expression) I can’t go home right now and I don’t think you want to be there either after what happened.

Liz:(nodded knowing he meant how Alex had died there) Come on. (She climbed out of the car and walked into Micheals apartment with Kyle right behind her)
