Authors note: Ok Instead of Max staying there and getting caught with Tingas dead body she gets out of there before Lydecker can get her, so this takes place after that. Thanks hope everyone enjoys this story.

Part 1

(Liz was sitting on the edge of her balcony, looking up at the stars lost in thought. She thought of how little anyone knew about her even her own parents, they only knew she was adopted and that when she visited her biological father, who had found her when she was ten years old, he took her to have fun. But they didn't know of how much of a monster he was or when she visited him fun was the last thing that would ever happen. They knew nothing of Manticore the place her father, Donald Lydecker, worked. Not even of the kids they made or the torture they put them through. When she was small she tried to tell her parents but they wouldn't believe her they just thought she was a little girl with an overactive imagination, and when they told her father what she had told them he smiled and said how ridiculous the whole story sounded and when he had turned to look at her she knew it in her heart that he would make her pay. And he did, that was the first time she knew how it felt to be in those kids, that she had seen in Manticore, positions. She knew how it felt to have that kind of torture done to you. So she never mentioned anything to them not the endless hours of torture, not the experimenting they did to her, and not the people she had single handedly seen him murder or even the people he had made her kill. After years of seeing and being put through all of this none of it really fazed her, don't get me wrong, she didn't enjoy any of it but she was able to remain emotionless through it. Going through years of that can do that to a person).

Liz:(as she looked up at the stars she couldn't help but ask) Do I deserve this?

Voice: You tell me. (and before Liz could react she's hit with something hard and then all she sees is black)

Part 2

(Warhouse)

(Liz was awakened by the feeling of freezing cold water being thrown at her, and as her eyes snapped open everything was black. It was then she realized that she was blindefolded and tied to the chair so she wouldn't be able to see them or get away. Great I'm soaked and I can't see anything. Can this day get any worse? Her question was soon answered by a voice coming from someone who was standing in front of her).

Male Voice: She's awake. (Liz then heard another person walk in front of her, and as soon as she heard the voice she knew it was a female)

Female Voice: Good. (then to Liz) Your Lydeckers daugher aren't you? (Liz stayed silent) Aren't you? (Liz still didn't answer)

Male Voice: Answer her! (demands)

Liz:(calmly) Not until you take this fucken thing off my head. (when no one answered Liz decided to try again) I'm not answering anything until you take this off. (Liz felt someone walk behind her and was so close she could feel their breath on her ear)

Male Voice: How about we just torture you until you tell us what we want. (Liz knew he was trying to scare her into telling them everything they wanted but it wasn't going to work. There wasn't any kind of torture that they could do to her that Lydecker hadn't already done. Liz knew she was going to have to try a different tactic if she wanted to get out of here so she opened her mouth to speak)

Liz:(seriously) Look I'll answer your questions ok but just take this thing off of me. You can torture me but I'm guessing you might want this to be as less messy as possible. Am I right? (she waited for their answer)

Male Voice: Don't! (he says to the female as she reaches to take it off Lizs face)

Female Voice:(turns and looks at him) We don't have time for this Zack- (she then takes it off of Lizs head)

Liz: Zack (She says as she looks at both of them, They look familiar but from where. She then realizes that she knew them from the pictures that Lydecker has of them in his office. The girl is Max, she thought as she looked at Max) Your Max

Max:(narrowed her eys at Liz) How did you know my name? (not liking that this girl knew who she was)

Liz:(clears her throat) Lydecker has pictures of your whole unit in his office.

Zack:(demands) Does he know how all of us look like right now?

Liz:(shakes her head) No just of the both of you, Ben, Tinga, and of course Brin. (Neither Liz or Zack noticed Maxs pained expression at the mention of Ben) But the others he just has the pictures of them before you escaped. (She looked at Max and saw relief, no matter how much she tried to hide it, it was obvious just by looking in her eyes).

Max: Where is your dad right now? (As she said this, she and Zack both notice Liz cringe)

Liz:(shakes her head) Don't call him that.

Max:(watching her reaction curiously) Well he is.

Liz:(scoffs) We may have the same blood, but I don't consider him my dad. All his is to me is a monster. (she saw their suprise expressions) Don't look so suprised, if anyone both of you know how much of a monster he is.

Max:(nods) Yea but we weren't sure if you knew that. How? Did he tell you about everything? (She asked wanting to know. Whatever information Liz had could help her and her siblings)

Liz:(as they asked her this she got a haunted look in her eye. I wish all he did was just tell me. She shook her head and looked them directly in the eyes) More like showed me. I've been to Manticore and I've seen everything that goes on there. I've even been through it.

Max:(shocked, she knew that Lydecker was a monster to do what he's done to them. But to do that to your own daughter was sick) He tortured you?

Liz:(nods) that and more.

Zack:(curiously) Didn't you ever tell anyone? (The more she told them the more he realized that she wasn't against them. That maybe she could help them. He pushes his thoughts away to hear her answer)

Liz:(frowns) Yea I did. That's what started the torture, he's been doing it so I won't ever tell anyone about Manticore ever again.

Max: How old were you? (she asked curiously)

Liz:(thnks for a moment) The first time I was 10. I tried telling my parents but of course they didn't believe me, and so they asked him about it. He denied all of it. (she said sounding not suprised at all) He took me to Manticore the next day and you can guess what happend from there. (paused) You want to find him don't you?

Zack:(nods) Yes.

Liz:(confused) Why now though?

Max:(with a sad expression) He killed Tinga. (Liz response suprised them both)

Liz:(shakes her head) No he couldn't of. (when she noticed their expression she continued to explain) I mean he's been looking for her, he was planning to take her back to Manticore to be reindroctinated. He wouldn't of killed her, no offense but your worth to much to just kill like that. Plus he's already in enough deep shit. It had to be Renfro.

Max:(confused) Who is Renfro?

Liz:(with disgust) The new Director. She had Tinga and Lydecker didn't know why, so he was following her to find out where she kept Tinga. Something must have happe- (Liz was cut off by the ringing of her cell phone, she had it in her pocket so they must have emptied out her pockets when she was knocked out. She watched as Zack walked over to her a table and picked up her cell)

Zack:(read the caller ID and turned and looked at them) It's Lydecker.

Liz:(after a thought popped up in her head she asked) What time is it?

Zack:(looked at her phone) It's eight. (Liz looked out the window and noticed it was morning already. They must have knocked her out pretty hard) Why?

Liz:He's supposed to pick me up. Where are we? (she saw their hesitation) After everything I told you, do you really think I'm trying to trick you? (Max and Zack exchanged a look and then Zack nodded to Max)

Zack:(looked at Liz) A few miles outside of Roswell.

Liz:(nodded) Ok. Then lets get him. (she hurriedly explains before they could question her) Look I want him stopped as much as you do. After everything hes done. (Liz shook her head) I want to help.

Zack:(looks at her for a moment and then nods. He usually didn't trust anyone but for some reason he got a good feeling from Liz. And she had told them alot of information) Ok. (he looks her right in the eye) You can help but don't try anything.

Liz: I won't. Look I know you don't trust me but I really do want to help. (They looked at her and knew she was telling the truth. So they nodded, and then Max walked over and untied her. Liz stood up and groaned as a wave of dizziness hit her. Crap. She waited for the dizziness to leave and once it did she touched her head and winced as she felt the bump) Ugh.

Zack:Here (he handed her two aspirns and a bottle of water)

Liz:(gives him a small smile) Thanks. (she opens the bottle of water and takes the pills)

Zack:(to her) No problem. (he looks at Max) We better go. (Max agrees and she and Liz follow Zack out of the warhouse)
