Authors note: I haven't done a Max/Liz story in a while and even though it doesn't end with them, this is a couple I haven't done in a while so I hope you enjoy. BTW I still have stories that need banners and I already posted them up in the Fanart... but no one has replyed PLEASE HELP!!

Part 1
(In the bathroom of a crummy hotel room, Liz sat down on the edge of the bathroom with a pregnancy test in her hand anxiously waiting for the results. She couldn’t believe she might be pregnant, She and Max had been so careful. But even though she knew this wasn’t the best time to have a kid; Liz couldn’t stop the smile that formed across her face at the thought of having a child with the man she loved. Even though it had been hard being on the run from the FBI for the past two years she couldn’t have been happier with Max. It wasn’t just them both Micheal and Maria, who still fought just as much as they did before, were happy and had gotten married not long after she and Max had. Not to mention Isabel and Kyle who were together. Isabel had divorced Jesse a year ago after he had told her that he met someone and even though they all knew it had been hard on Isabel she had let him go, knowing it was best for both of them. Kyle had been the one to make her happy again, and now they were together. As Liz took a deep breath and looked down at the pregnancy test all she could think about was that maybe now they could settle down. As Liz heard the door open and shut she stood up and quickly walked out of the bathroom leaving the test with two pink strips on the floor).

That just about pained me to read. I know that it's not going to be Liz/Max through the hole thing, but I hate the pairing and hope that it doesn't last that long. But I will continue to read because I love X-Tremer fics.

A/N: Ok so I know this part is a little short but the next one will be alot better and longer.

Part 2

(Liz walked into the room to see Max, Maria, and Kyle walk in)

Liz:(smiled) Hey guys.

Max:(looked at Liz in surprise) Liz what are you doing here? I thought you were at work.

Liz:(nodded) I was but I left early.

Max:(walked over to her concerned) Are you still feeling sick? (He asked referring to the fact that she had been vomiting for the past couple of days)

Liz:(with a wide smile) No but I found out why that was.

Maria:(looked at Liz with a huge smile, having an idea what was going on) Are you?

Liz:(nods and jumps up and down) Yes. (Maria squealed and ran to Liz and pulled her into a hug)

Maria:(as she jumped up and down excitedly) Oh My God, Oh My God.

Max:(confused and turns to Kyle) What are they talking about?

Kyle:(shrugged) I have no idea Evans. (He turned as Micheal and Isabel walked in) Hey Iz. (he smiled and kissed her as she made her way over to him. As she pulls away she looks at Maria in confusion not knowing what was going on. Kyle, seeing her confusion just shrugged) I don’t know.

Maria:(turned and looked at them like they were crazy) She’s pregnant!!

Max:(looked at Liz in shock) I’m going to be a dad? (He says with a hint of a smile on his face)

Liz:(with tears in her eyes) Yes. (Max pulls her into a hug)

Max:(kissed her) I can’t believe this. (he whispers trying to contain his joy)

Liz:(smiles) Me either. (After all this time on the run Liz finally felt that maybe they could settle down) I love you Max.

Max:(smiled) I love you too. (he says happy that he was with the women that he loved and that they were going to have a baby, something he had wanted ever since he had to give away Zan)

Isabel:(clapped her hands getting all of their attention, glaring at Micheal and Kyle groaned as they saw her go into Nazi mode) Ok, Liz, Max we’re gonna throw you the best party. We need to celebrate this. Now…(she started giving out orders and everyone hurried to follow them not wanting to upset the Party Nazi)

Great update. I'm glad that Liz is happy with the news. And I love Isabel in Nazi mode. I can't wait to read more.

I am glad that Liz is okay with having a baby, that is going to be hard on her but I hope she does well! Oh Isabel she sure does love to plan, the party planning will be good for her! Thanks for writing I can't wait to see what happens next!

Part 3

(2 days later)

(The whole group was at her baby shower that of course Isabel had done a great job with. Now they were all sitting on the couch talking. Liz laughed as Kyle told them how he had walked in on Micheal and Maria in the shower together and then he had scared the crap out of them by pretending to take off his clothes and trying to join them. Quoting how Buddha says it’s good for everyone to share).

Kyle:(laughed) I swear you should have seen the look on Micheals face. (He said referring to Micheals death glare at the time)

Micheal:(rolled his eyes) Yea well I wasn’t exactly in a good mood after Maria started screaming. My ears are still hurting. (He groaned when Maria smacked him upside the head for his comment).

Maria:(narrowed her eyes at Kyle) It’s not like we’re anxious to share the shower with you Kyle. So I think I had the right to freak.

Max:(smiled and then looked around) Iz you did a great job with the decorations, he said as he looked at Isabel)

Isabel:(smiled) Only the best for my brother.

Max:(smiled his thanks and then turned to Liz, and put his forehead against hers) I love you and I’m so happy we’re having this baby.

Liz:(smiled) I love you too. I- (Liz was cut off as the door to their hotel room flew open and a group of FBI Agents with guns and bulletproof vests ran in. Without a moment’s hesitation the aliens raised their arms and used their powers to throw the FBI Agents against the wall. Liz watches in horror as one of the FBI Agents shot and fired, the bullet hitting Maria in the chest, and then her friend falls to the floor. Before she could even think Liz was right next to her friend with her hand over the bullet wound, trying to heal her) Maria…Maria look at me. (Liz watched as her friends eyes closed and her breathing stopped, Liz didn’t even notice the tears that were falling down her face. Her best friend was dead. Even the powers that Max had given Liz couldn’t’ save Maria)

Micheal:(screamed) MARIA! (Liz turned to Micheal only to see him get shot in the back of the head and fall to the ground dead. He was too distracted by Maria dying that he hadn’t even noticed the FBI Agent that appeared behind him)

Liz:(looked around her heart beating faster as she saw Max on the floor with blood coming from his mouth and Liz watched in horror as multiple bullet holes started appearing on his body; and it convulsed at the force of them) MAX! (she screamed in horror but before she could run over to them she was pulled to her feet by Isabel and Kyle who had somehow managed to stay alive)

Isabel:(yelled over all the noise) We need to get out of he- (she was cut off as she was shot through the back)

Kyle:(grabbed Liz and pushed her out of the way as the FBI Agents aimed at him) RUN! (were the last words that Liz ever heard from Kyle as they Agents fired)

Liz:(watched wide-eyed as the Agents turned to her and then fire, but before they the bullets could hit her she raised her hand and a shield appeared in front of her causing the bullets to stop in mid-air. Liz looked around her and took in the dead bodies of everyone she cared about. As she looked back at the agents she felt a hate that she had never felt before not even at Tess, begun to stir inside of her and as she raised her other hand she screamed in rage as a wall of fire appeared in front of her and flew at the Agents. She couldn’t help but feel a small feeling of satisfaction as they screamed in pain. Almost all of them were dead in an instant, except one. She walked over to him and before she could finish the job he spoke)

Agent:(as he coughed up blood) I may not have been able to get you but at least I got your parents. (he watched wide eyed as she placed her hand on his chest and it began to glow. A moment later he screamed as he felt like his insides were melting, his screams only stopping once his body turned to ash)

(Liz looked around as the fire started spreading throughout the apartment, and knowing that it would be best if there was no trace of them left; she turned and walked out letting the place burn to the ground. Climbing in the van, she turned and took one last look at the apartment before driving off and heading in the direction of Roswell).

Well...Damn. Poor Liz, the only survivor. And go her for toasting the Feds. Woah, I can't wait to see whats next.
