Summary: Challenge #18. Takes place after “Ch-Ch-Changes” in Roswell, After “The Berrisford Agenda” in DA, and During Season 7 in Buffy. The first hasn’t showed up at least not yet.

Part 1

(Liz ducked the vampires kick to her head and then spun and tripped him, as the vamp fell to the ground she pulled out her stake and lodged it into him chest. She watched as he exploded into dust, and she couldn’t help but smile at how much easier it was to kill them. Unlike a month ago when she had left Roswell after her powers had come through and every time Max had touched her it caused her pain. She was on her was on her way to Vermont when Buffy and the Scooby gang found her, they had came looking for her after finding out that Faith had died and Liz was the next slayer. She hadn’t believed them at first, more like she didn’t want to believe them, but after Buffy took her to the cemetery where she had come face to face with her first demon she couldn’t deny it any longer. So she had stayed for a couple of weeks with them until Giles found out there was another Hellmouth in Seattle, Washington. Deciding it couldn’t go ungarded they sent her and Spike, who needed a break from the drama with Buffy, with her so he could train her and help her out when needed. Liz smiled as she thought of Spike, in such a short amount of time they had become inseparable, if anything she would say he was the closest thing to a best friend that she had).

(Of course she was still close with some of the Roswell gang for instance Kyle and Maria but that was it. She hadn’t talked to the aliens since before she left; though she had talked to her parents right before she went to Sunnydale. She had told them everything about the aliens and then about her being a slayer; surprisingly they had accepted her and told her that they understood why she hadn’t told them at the time but were happy that she had finally decided to tell them the truth. Kyle and Maria were the only ones who knew that she had told them the truth, because they were there with her. She made them promise no matter what that they wouldn’t tell the others about her Slayer status or about the fact that she had told her parents about them, she knew that they would freak out. Liz continued to walk away from the Crash unaware that someone had seen her stake the vampire)

(10 minutes earlier)

(Alec was sitting with Max, Logan, Original Cindy, and Sketchy when he had seen her walk in. The second he saw her she took his break away, she was beautiful. He had planned to go over and talk to her but was stopped as he saw her staring at the couple who were leaving and then getting up and following them out. Curious to see what was going on, he stood up and followed her outside; shocked by the scene in front of him)

(He watched as she told the girl to run and how the guy that was with her, no longer looked human; his face changed and he had fangs. Alec was about to step forward and help her but stopped as he watched her fight the thing and then stake it in awe. He had never seen anyone fight the way she did, not to mention the thing that had turned to dust. As she started to walk away looking deep in thought, Alec turned around and headed back into Crash to tell Max what he had seen).
