Part 1

(Seattle, WA)

(Terminal City)

(Max is on top of the building watching as people are outside Terminal City holding signs up. Some are Anti-Transgenic and some are supporting us but there are hardly any of those. She couldn't believe how bad things have gotten since they locked themselves inside Terminal City. People have tried to kill us when they catch sight of any transgenics, even Logan has had some trouble. Apparently anyone in Terminal City, human or not were the enemies, and now she was the leader and she had no idea what to do next. Max was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't see Alec come up from behind her until he starts talking to her)

Alec: Max (concerned) Are you ok?

Max:(looked at him and sighed) I just don't know what to do next. (she tells him honestly, which she had no trouble doing, ever since she had told him about Ben they had been closer and if anyone other than Original Cindy she knew she could talk to it would be him)

Alec: That's actually what I came up here to tell you. We found one of the familiars locations, and if you want I can check it out. I think it would be a good idea. (he says knowing she trusts his opinion)

Max:(nods) Yea we need to know what they are up to but I'm coming with you. (before Alec could argue she says) I mean it Alec we don't know what they are up to. You could run into anything so your not going alone ok. (Alec doesn't say anything) Good lets go. (she turns around walking inside the building and after taking a deep breath trying to ignore the bad feeling he has, he follows her inside)

Part 2

(10 miles outside of Seattle)

(Max and Alec bring their bikes to a stop as they reach their location. They climb off their bikes and stare at the building in front of them, it's a big white building that used to be a mental hospital but was closed off about two years ago. Now it was home to many familiars).

Max:(as she looked at the building) Creepy.

Alec:(nodded) Yea. (He looked at the building that seemed empty but if he knew anything it was that there was most likely familiars crawling around inside. This was just the kind of place that they would be. Alec sighed and turned to Max) Are you sure?

Max:(as Alec said that she gave him a weird look) what’s with you? Usually I'm the one trying to stop you.

Alec:(sighed) I just have a bad feeling about this. (Shakes his head to clear it) Let's just go.

Max: You sure you’re ok? (Concerned)

Alec:(smirked) Yea Maxie. (He starts walking towards the building, not wanting to show just how nervous he was).

(Inside the building)

(Max and Alec quietly made their way inside careful not to alert any familiars that were near. As they turned a corner they saw two familiars come up from a door leading down a flight of stairs, they hid until they two men walked away and they made their way where the familiars came out of. Max followed Alec down the flight of stair, and through a dark hallway, as they came to the end of the hallway the only way to go was through a door. Alec motioned for Max to open the door and he would go in. Max walked to the other side of the door and then counted to three and pulled it open, Alec quickly made his way in there ready to fight if anyone came at him but all he saw was a girl, who was obviously badly beaten, hanging from the ceiling by ropes tied to her arms. He turned and motioned for Max to come in, so she walked in and looked at the girl he had seen).

Max:(walked over to the girl) Hey

Girl:(looked up at Max) Who are you? If you’re with them I’m not telling you anything!

Max: With who? White? (She asked wanting to know)

Girl:(nodded) Yes.

Max:(shook her head) Nope.

Girl:(asked with hope in her voice) Are you a transgenic?

Max:(looked at her in surprise) Wh- (before she could say anything else, White walked in followed by 4 familiars)

White: Well Well looks who’s here.

Max: Just thought we would drop by. (She said sarcastically)

White: You’re not going to make it out of here 452. (He smirked)

Max: Really you think you and your little breeding cult can stop us.

White: You and 494 are gonna die like you should’ve a long time ago. (He then looked at the girl and then at one of the familiars) Get her and get rid of her.

Girl: No (she said causing with fear in her voice causing Max and Alec to look at her, and just as the familiar started walking toward the girl, Max stood in his way)

Max: You’re not taking her anywhere. (she said getting into a fighting stance, and as the familiar smiled and took a step toward her she punched him in the face and as the familiar and White moved to attack 2 black smoke bombs were thrown in and Mole, Joshua and Logan ran in armed, and attacked the familiars)

Logan:(yelled) Max!

Max:(turn and ran to the girl quickly untying her as Joshua ran up to her) Joshua we have to take her. (Joshua picked the girl up as Max untied her and they all quickly made their way out)

White:(yelled) Don’t let them out. (Max, Logan, Alec, Mole, and Joshua kept running, while fighting off familiars, until they made their way out of the building. As they made their way to Logan’s SUV Logan, Mole, and Joshua with the girl climbed into Logan’s SUV and drove off as Max and Alec jumped on their bikes and sped away just in time to dodge White and the familiars).

Part 3

(Joshua’s House)

Max:(climbed off her bike and walked over to Mole who was getting out of the SUV) Mole. (He turned to her) Take my bike and go to TC and fill everyone in. We’ll head back once we get answers. (Mole nodded and then climbed onto Max’s bike and headed toward Terminal City)

(Max followed Logan, Alec, and Joshua inside and once she reached the door she watched as he sat the girl onto the couch. Once he did they watched as she bent over and laid her head on her eyes trying to calm her breathing).

Max:(to Logan) Can you get her a glass of water? (Logan nodded and as he walked to the kitchen Max slowly made her way over to the couch and next to the girl, careful not to frighten her) Are you ok? (She asked as she laid her hand on the girls shoulder causing her head to snap up in surprise) My name’s Max (she said and noticed the girl wince at her name) What’s yours?

Girl:(after a moment she shook her head) I..I-I don’t remember.

Max:(shocked) You don’t remember? (She looked up at Alec, Joshua, and Logan, who had walked back in from the kitchen, and they all mirrored the same look of shock she had on her face) How long were you in there? (She asked as she turned back to the girl)

Girl:(shook her head) I don’t know…all I can remember is that place.

Max:(softly) Do you know why they hurt you? Anything at all?

Girl:(shook her head and put her head in her hands) They asked me questions……none of it made sense.

Max:(sighed and looked at Logan) Can she stay with you? I think TC will overwhelm her and if she’s safe she might start to remember what happened to her.

Logan:(nodded and handed her the glass of water) That’s fine. She can stay in the extra bedroom.

Max:(nodded and then turned to the girl) Until you remember your name is there any name you would like us to call you?

Girl:(bit her lip) How about Ava?

Max:(gave her a small smile) Ok. That’s a pretty name. (She said to the brunette) Come on let’s get you cleaned up ok. (She helped Ava to the guest bedroom)

Ava’s POV

(She sat on the bed and watched at Max placed a towel on the bed and a pair of boxers and a black tank top. She was thankful that these trangenics were helping her, she had guessed that’s what they were when they found her because they are the only people who would attempt to break into the facility and then when she saw Max’s reaction to it she knew she had been right. She wasn’t lying when she told them she didn’t remember anything because she really didn’t. She had woken up in that hell with no memory of her life, not her name or birthday not anything at all. She hated not knowing who she was and she hated White for finding out right away that she had no memory and refused to tell her anything about herself until she used her “powers” in front of him. She always responded with the same “I don’t know what you’re talking about” which always led to him getting angry and her being tortured. As she grabbed her things and walked into the bathroom she couldn’t help but hope that they would help her find out who she was and what had happened to lead her into that hell).
