Prologue

Lizs POV

I walk into the club actually looking forward to my shift that consisted of dancing for strangers and giving them lap dances. Yes, she was no longer little Lizzie Parker from Roswell, to be honest she hadn’t been that person in a long time but even so, if anyone from her past saw what she was doing for a living now they would be shocked.

Not that she would ever admit it, but secretly she loved doing what she did, maybe because it wasn’t complicated. All these men wanted was to see her dance for them, they didn’t want anything complicated. Neither did she, after everything she had been through with Max, a relationship or anything close to one was the last thing she wanted.

So I hurry and go to the back and change into my outfit, which was a short black mini skirt; that you should never wear in public, a red corset, black fishnet stockings and red high heels. Once I’m done putting on my clothes and makeup I make my way to the front and walk up to my first customer of the day.
